About GetCafeWebsite
GetCafeWebsite builds and manages websites for cafes, coffee shops and bakeries, on one monthly plan, with the build fee charged only after the site is live.
What we actually believe about cafe websites
The daypart is the design brief
We start every build from how your day actually shifts, not from a generic restaurant template.
Speed is not optional
Every page is custom coded and measured against a 90+ PageSpeed target before it ships.
Managed means managed
A weekly check and a real revision process, not a one-time build handed off and forgotten.
How we work
One onboarding call, a build measured in days rather than months, weekly updates after launch, and revisions turned around in working days. Nobody at your business needs to log in and fix anything themselves; that stays with us.
What we are not
We are not a cafe, coffee shop, bakery or food business, and nothing on this site is food safety, allergen, licensing or nutrition advice. We build and run the website. Everything your customers rely on you for, the coffee, the bake, the counter itself, stays entirely with you.
Who writes and edits here
Two editorial personas, not licensed food service professionals, cover the blog and the guidance written across this site.
Ines Calloway
Cafe Website Strategist, Portland, OR
Ines spent seven years building ordering and menu systems for independent coffee shops before moving into web strategy, and still opens with the morning crew at a roastery two mornings a week. She writes about the parts of a cafe website that change by the hour: the menu, the queue, and what a phone shows someone standing on the sidewalk. She is a fictional persona and holds no food service license.
Desmond Okri
Bakery Operations Editor, Austin, TX
Desmond worked the front counter and the books at a family bakery for a decade before writing full time, and edits every piece here for whether it would actually survive a 5am proof list and a rush at 8. He covers the operational side of a bakery or cafe website: what has to be true before launch, what a revision actually costs in time, and how a small team keeps a site current without adding a job to the schedule. He is a fictional persona and holds no food service or health license.
Why the plans are priced the way they are
Plans start at $117 a month because a managed website is an ongoing job, not a one-time purchase. Morning Shift covers a fully managed site. Full Shift adds a tool for answering routine visitor questions. Open to Close adds a heavier content schedule for shops that want the most published every week. The build fee is separate and comes only after you have approved the finished site.
