Will a redesign hurt my current Google ranking?

How long is the site down during the switch?
It should not be down at all. The new site is built and reviewed in full before the old one is replaced, and the domain is pointed to the new site once everything is confirmed working.
What does a cafe website redesign include?

Do we keep our domain?
Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site. If it is registered in someone else's name, we help you get it into yours.
What if the old developer will not give us access?

Does our email keep working?
Yes. Pointing the domain at a new website does not change email hosted on that domain unless you ask us to.
Can we keep our old blog posts?
Posts worth keeping are moved and redirected. Posts that are wrong or out of date are redirected to the closest current page instead.
Is a redesign worth it if the old site still works?
If it is slow on phones, hard to update or out of date, it is costing you visitors quietly. If it is fast, current and easy to change, a redesign may not be needed, and we will say so.
What happens to our old hosting?
Once the new site is live and you are happy, you can cancel the old hosting. Hosting on the new site is included in the plan.
